If you would like to find out more about the background of Blooming Desert, you can find important literature on various topics here. Some texts are written by Svenja Akwaba personally and marked accordingly, others are books by other authors that were both relevant to the development of the basic idea and are also important in the further course of implementation. These revolve around the topics of human-wildlife conflicts, wildlife management, safari guiding, environmental education, social psychology, sociology, Christian faith, theology, awe research. In addition, some book recommendations are listed that cover part of the topic and convey it in a simple and understandable way.
I hope you enjoy browsing and reading and would be happy if you get in touch if you can recommend any relevant literature on the topics.
The concept of
Blooming Desert
Here you can find the concept that Svenja Akwaba developed as part of her master's thesis. It already contains the various subject areas and refers to other interesting publications. First, the various focus areas are discussed, which later enabled the concept to be developed. The concept itself can be found in the appendix starting on page 105 of 172.
